Motherboard
Gigabyte Z87-D3HP (UEFI)
CPU
Intel i7 4770K
Graphics
NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
As the name says, every time I attempt to use Facetime, Photo Booth, or any other application which involves the use of the webcam, the webcam will freeze up after a few seconds. This is becoming extremely frustrating and I have no clue as to how to fix it.

Here are my specs for my Hackintosh:

- Gigabyte Z87-D3HP
- 16 GB memory
- i7 4770k processor
- Logitech Quickpro 9000 webcam

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try USB 2.0 port.

Already tried that. Still isn't working.

Ensure that you have your USB configured correctly with a DSDT. You can see my guide here based on matt77303's "El capitan USB issues - possible fix." thread.

Also note that MultiBeast 8.1 has been released. It claims to have USB 3.x driver support so you could try that too.
