I recently purchased a Logitech c920 after reading some reviews stating how this webcam works OOB. I just plugged it in, opened up imovie, Skype facetime, and photoboth but im not getting any video. When i go into my system preferences then into the audio inputs it shows my webcam, and when i talk the input volume bar raises, so i know the webcam is being detected but maybe only as a microphone. When i try to record my voice in a Skype test call, it does not detect any sound. I have a snowball microphone that worked perfectly OOB, so i dont need the microphone to work on the c920, i just need the camera to work, anyone have any ideas?
P.S. I am running Mountain lion.
Update:
I replugged in my webcam, and now while in photobooth i go into the camera options, and i have the ability to choose my logitech camera. So now i know that it can detect my webcam as a camera but i am still getting a black screen.
