Hi,

if you use a lot of 32 bits applications, then do NOT install Catalina. They will cease to work.
For audio people, there are a lot of 32bit (vst) plugins, they will not work anymore.
A lot of companies like Arturia and such are sending out email warnings to wait with upgrading to Catalina until there are hotfixes available.

So keep this in mind.

Regards

In general, you can check if you have any 32-bit applications by going to "About This Mac" (in the Apple menu), then "System Report..." Scroll down to the "Software" section and click on "Applications". Sort by the 64-bit column; you may have a couple things that say "no" directly from Apple but those are part of macOS and will get updated. Anything else is a potential concern.
