Here is my result on a test rig, all went well apart from audio but got it all working as you can see from the screen shot - iMsg/F-Time, Bluetooth, Siri etc

If you go to Apple's macOS Previews site. You'll find a post about Optimised storage that saves you a lot of space from your mac.
Not sure how much it saves space exactly but it does save some.

Hey for some reason I get to the installer install Sierra and then reboot to finish it up and it keeps going into macos utilities instead of finishing up installation

Looks like you are booting from the Recovery Partition.
At the reboot there should be three partitions (minimum) depending on how many disks you have installed.

If you don't see three you probably need a newer version of Clover.
