Hi,

Just purchased and installed a wacom intuos tablet on my machine. I lost audio after doing do.
I can multibeast the audio back with the DSDT 889 driver if the tablet isn't attached, if it is, no audio.

OSX 10.8.5

Any ideas?

I've been using the realtek 889

Hi,

I don't think so. Its for drawing - pressure sensitive surface with a stylus. No speakers. No audio. Connects with usb.

I have to install the realtek 889 codec twice to get it to work again. (with the tablet unattached)
If I plug in the tablet after booting with working audio everything works fine.

Ok, does the tablet use any of the audio ports or does it have speakers on the tablet?

Hey, sorry to bother your brain, wondering if you had any ideas about where to go next?
Certainly seems to be a conflict between the device and the audio set up, like perhaps its over-writing something?

Any direction would be helpful.

Have you tried posting it as an audio problem in the Post installation->audio forum?
