wacom intuios 3 not working properly.

hi all

I have recently built a i7 hackintosh system. everything's working well so far except my wacom tablet.

at first I simply plug in the wacom intuios 3 to the usb, the pen started functioning like a mouse, in a very slow scale (pen move across the table surface, mouse pointer only move a little).

then I downloaded the tablet driver from wacom website. installed. Bamboo appeared in the system preference panel. click into the icon it simply pops up a error window. other than that the pen behaves exactly the same as before.

this results in my wacom useless in OSX environment.

I have done research on the Internet everyone seems to have their wacom working OOB.

anyone offers some help?

System built:

intel i72600k
Gigabyte GA Z68MX ud2h b3
Nvidia 550Ti

so you installed Bamboo drivers and not intuios 3 driver? Not sure thats the best idea

Solved.

I installed the driver on wacom homepage, which I assume all their products share the same driver.
