Hello Guys,

I know my W-LAN modul is incompatible because i had a kext for it.

I had the problem who you can see in the Screenshots from the console.app

My Laptop has a Intel Dual Band Wireless AC-3160 and in the kext file /content/Resources/ are iwlwifi-3160-16.ucode, iwlwifi-7260-16.ucode, iwlwifi-7265-16, iwlwifi-7265D-16.ucode and iwlwifi-8000C-16
My file is iwlwifi-3160-16.ucode

The errors are in the attached files / in the pictures

Have a nice day,

Thank you very much.

Intel WiFi is not supported. You must replace it with compatible hardware.

See FAQ: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

Why give it then a kext about the adapter.

Is that a statement or question? Questions end with '?'.

If it is a question, I don't understand it. Please clarify.

Why does a kext exist for the wlan Module?

If you're referring to this effort: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/intel-wifi-driver-effort.186344/...

Perhaps you failed to read post #1 carefully:

...
I've started work on a project to port the current-generation Intel WiFi drivers from Linux to OS X. Right now it's very, very early in a process that looks to be a very, very long one. I have a kext that identifies compatible hardware and loads and digests the matching firmware, but it doesn't yet do important things like, say, connect to a network.

The emphasis (bold face) on the relevant text is mine.

RehabMan is right as always.

Don't waste your time trying to get an Intel Wireless card to work in Mac OS X. I'm on my 4th laptop since 2003 and I always had to replace the Intel Wireless card with one that is compatible with Mac OS X. Intel wireless just doesn't work.

We've all been replacing our Intel cards with one fully supported in OS X (2.4GHz, 5GHz, bluetooth, continuity and handoff). You'll notice that for everyone with WLAN fully working, nobody has Intel WLAN. All the guides on this site recommend replacing Intel WLAN cards.
