VoodooHDA problem with XPS 8500

I recently have converted my xps into a hackintosh. Everything is all good except audio. I cant seem to get it working no matter what. I have tried modified kexts for ALC 887 with no luck. The closest I have gotten is by installing VoodooHDA and i get the error of "Can't get registry-entry path" Followed by "Wrong Channels Number 0..24" I have been working on audio for a few weeks now but it wont seem to work at all.
