Greetings to all,
I am very new to all of this. I'm planning my first build using
Motherboard: GA-Z87X-UD5H
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K
RAM: 16GB G.Skill RipjawsX Series DDR3
Power Supply: Corsair 650 Watt Modular
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB 2.5" + Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" + Western Digital 3TB
with either the Fractal R4 or NZXT Silent Chassis case and 2 Samsung 20" monitors. The computer will be mainly for recording and producing music but will also be used for photo editing and possibly some video editing much later down the road. I'm guessing I will need to increase the size of my power supply since I'll be using dual (possibly) triple monitors, phantom audio interfaces, usb Maschine controller, usb keyboard(s) and a surface controller.
.... few quick questions:
1.) Will I need a liquid CPU cooler if I'm not overclocking?
2.) Is there any way I could bypass having a Graphics card and still have a solid build and achieve dual monitor capability?
3.) If no, what is the quietest and most "cost efficient" Graphics card I can use for this build?
4.) What is the quietest and best suited power supply I can use for this build?
5.) Should I just wait for the new Z87 board?
6.) How do I obtain a Mac OS if I do not already own a Mac?
....Any suggestions on what other components to use to make the computer as QUIET AS POSSIBLE while simultaneously being easy for a first time builder like me to get up and running will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance-
