Hi Everyone.

Thanks to everyone for their support here in my quest to install Hackintosh. Being a total noob it was quite challenging. I was making it much harder than it was supposed to be. Once I realized how easy it was, I was stunned. :D

I decided to make a video of the install in hopes that it will encourage other people to try it as well.

Thanks again everyone. This is no doubt one of the best sites on the net for Hackintosh.

thanks for taking the time to make this video! I'm about to put together a build with nearly the same specs, so it's nice to just have a visual of the process.

Thanks for making these- we all really appreciate it!

When you installed NVenabler, did you restart first, or was the effect immediate? I can't tell from your edits, if each seperate Kext install was followed by a restart? Just curious if I'm wasting a bunch of time?

Also, when you install say the wrong audio kext, or any of these choices, is there an easy way to remove them? Maybe tony could add an uninstall feature to multibeast.

I had a 90% working system, then I installed some ATI things and everything went crazy.

Thanks for the videos

Max

The drives show up orange which means they are able to hot-swap. AFAIK, the drive will work completely normal this way. If you want to the drive to look normal, you can install a kext called IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext. It can be found in multibeast.

Thanks for these videos, I had much the same results as you did on my first try. After watching your very fine videos I was up and running with no problems in about 30 minutes.
