Your Mac must have at least an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and be able to run older versions of Mac OS X and use Unibeast to create your installer. If you would like to buy, borrow or rent a used Mac mini to create your installer, the 2010 models are the best choice. They all have a Core 2 Duo CPU and at least 2GB of ram which is required for Lion through the Mojave version of macOS.

If you have a 2010 Mac mini or iMac still on Snow Leopard you can upgrade it to Yosemite for free. http://updates-http.cdn-apple.com/2...3ab5-4c92-bfe2-b725447a070d/InstallMacOSX.dmg Unibeast 10.x.0 for Catalina works best on Yosemite or newer versions of macOS.

See post #2 first if your Core 2 Duo or Core i Mac is too old to download Catalina

NOTE: The step to disable SIP in this video is only required if the Mac you are using is running macOS Catalina or a newer version of macOS.

This video is designed to supplement the main written Catalina Installation guide which can be found here:

If your Unibeast USB isn't created properly, read through the following threads:

How To Download macOS if your Mac is too old to download Catalina
If your Mac is approximately 2011 or older you won't be able to download Catalina from the Mac App Store. The same hardware restrictions apply to macOS Mojave.

Follow the instructions in the following video to be able to download Catalina from Apple's servers on your older Intel Mac.

Available macOS Products:

1. macOS Catalina 10.15.4 (19E266)

2. macOS Catalina 10.15.3 (19D2064)

3. macOS Mojave 10.14.4 (18E2034)

4. Install macOS High Sierra Beta 10.13.5 (17F66a)

5. macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G66)

6. macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103)

7. macOS Mojave 10.14.5 (18F2059)

Note: You can also use this method on your CustoMac to download the complete macOS install app. This is helpful when you download from the MAS and only get the small 19MB "stub" installer.
