The GTS 250 has good support - it's very similar to the 9800 GT. You might want to keep the GTX 465, as Fermi support has been noted for hackintoshes, but if you're looking to minimize install issues definitely go for the 250.

Do you have any information on a fermi install Mackilroy?

Ok, I'm going to go the 250GTS route for now. I'll likely get a faster card once there is more support out there.

All in favor of that approach.

For a cheaper card, the 9800 GTX+ is the exact same thing as the GTS 250, but rebranded.

EDIT: just checked, and this is a really good deal on a 250, you won't need 1GB RAM unless you're going to be gaming on dual monitors:

Good, because I am keeping my money for the 9800 GTX+, instead of the GT* 2** line.

Well. 250 GTS in now, tried an install with iBoot, but it will not boot from the Hard Drive Still. I'll try supported now and see if that makes a difference.

No big change. I also tried to use GROMs DSDT with Multibeast and no result.

I get a "Boot0: Error" when I try to boot without the iBoot CD. No probs as far as I can see running Snow Leopard though... but I haven't installed anything yet.

Any advice on the Boot 0 error? I am quite newbish on this stuff, but I did try to use the guide here though... http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ ... -x-on.html

A boot0: Error is when the hard drive contains no boot up data, meaning you have selected the wrong partition. Use this guide:
