VGA that supports 4k monitor HiDPI scaled to 1440p

Is anyone running a Hackintosh with 4K monitor and 1440p HiDPI resolution (scaled) ? What VGA are you using? I own a mid 2012 retina MacBook pro and 1440p HiDPI is not supported (Sierra). I also have my work MacBook Pro which is 2015 and it runs 1440p HiDPI with no issues with that same monitor. Currently planning to build a hackintosh that could do that and wanna make sure I pick a right VGA.

I'm using a 4K monitor with an EVGA GTX970 SSC and 1440p HiDPI is available and working for me in macOS Sierra 10.12.3

I'm buying EVGA GTX 970 SSC on Craigslist for $180. Hopefully it will work fine The source seems trustworthy.
