Good day everyone, I have quite a problem which I need to solve.
I have (connected to a VGA splitter):
- a VGA projector
- a secondary VGA screen
Considering that there's no way I'm going to change both items, I've been looking for a way to get the MB video signal to work on a VGA connection.
What I did was connecting these 3:
HDMI (which is supposed to work) to minidisplayport <----> double female minidisplayport connector <----> minidisplayport to VGA (same converter which works on apple notebooks)
The result? No useful signal to the monitor.
What can be done? I absolutely need to find a way to get VGA signal out.. otherwise, no OSX for me, I'm afraid
(which is a shame since I've built the whole machine around this OS)
This is the last obstacle between me and my hackintosh help!
