Vega users avoid 10.13.2 High Sierra

There is a process in the update that loads the gpu and causes the gpu fan spin up much faster.

Not sure which process is doing it but it stops when the shutdown command is given. You can see the load drops back to 1 led as it’s shutting down all the processes.

I’ve also noticed 10.13.2 is less stable than 10.13. Not sure if it’s gpu related.
 
I have the exact opposite experience, 10.13.2 is much more stable than 10.13.1 because theres an actual driver. Under 10.13.1 my system would freeze up under any small amount of load (and I've read a lot of posts that have experienced the same). My fans do speed up quite a bit under 10.13.2, but its usually not so bad and they will spin down when theres a small amount of load (YouTube video playing for example).
