i am on opencore 0.6.6 big sur 11.2 everything works except airplay mirroring it starts but it lags and basically unusable.
i was digging around framebuffer but only way i found to confirm it works or not is this hackintool `vda decoder` which says fully supported

strange, you could see topic from Z390 D and check for full compactibility for metal.

What devices are you using AirPlay to connect?

I assume you are trying to Stream video from your hack but what are you streaming to a Smart TV, an Apple TV device?

I assume you have checked that the device you are streaming to is Airplay compatible - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208728

Why do you think the framebuffer is the reason for the distortion on the 'Mirrored' display? If your Hack's display is working fine, with a Headless Intel Framebuffer and your Vega 64 is working with the AMD drivers in Catalina. Isn't it more likely to be an issue with the connection between the two devices that is causing the issue, i.e. your WiFi connection?

video streams without problem, connectivity is gigabit lan, i stream to apple tv 4k. i dont think its framebuffer problem its just whenever i search for airplay only framebuffer fix comes up. i have other devices as well which can stream video or mirror without problem

Read this go one page 1 but read. you need to check
  • AAPL,ig-platform-id
  • device-id

Posts #1 & 4 seem to contradict each other.

What exactly is the problem you are facing, either you can stream using Airplay or you can’t. Which is it?

Have you tried iMacPro1,1 system definition with IGPU disabled? This works for me for mirroring or separate display. It even works without an AppleTV if you have a fairly recent vintage LG TV.
