Hi,
I'm having issues regarding to using microphone on build in inputs. I want to use apple earphone mic as input in logic pro and I have set both in mac and logic pro to use built in inputs and outputs.
I connect microphone and headphone input from the motherboard using audio splitter (so basically i want to use apple earphone as both input and output to record and listen) but that seem to not work. When i try the splitter (without 2m audio extender)with front speaker and front microphone port it works.
Basically what i want to do is: extend the audio signal from my pc because my pc is far away from my desk and apple earphone's cable is too short.
Splitter > 2m audio signal extender > apple earphone
I have attached the splitter that i use to connect headphone and mic below.
> > Apple Earphone
Another scenerio:
with audio extender directly into rear headphone port (lime port) there is a low volume hiss sound. Not sure if it's from the audio extender or the port.
