Using a Presonus Quantum Thunderbolt 2 Audio Interface...HELP

I thought I did show the results in my posts? #311 to #313 above?
ie I cut and pasted everything from Terminal, including
"Requesting load of /Library/Extensions/quantum_driver.kext.
/Library/Extensions/quantum_driver.kext loaded successfully (or already loaded)."

Sorry @joevt, I am extremely, *extremely* new to this, but isn't this correctly reporting the outcomes of these commands? I can run a "find and kextload", sure - again, this is new to me, including the "find and kextload" command.

See my post #311 above - I cut and paste everything Terminal gave me. Briefly:
"No work to do; check options and try again."

I updated the kextcache command in #312. The -i needs to be lowercase.

Do sudo kextcache -i / then restart.
Make sure pci1c67,101 still exists in ioreg ioreg -rn pci1c67,101. If it doesn't then you need to warm boot from Windows again.
Then check kextstat and log.

@joevt your advice has worked just fine under old, ancient, clunky Sierra, as well. Curiously, on using sudo kextcache -i /
Terminal did not report any allowance for the kext w invalid signature, it appeared to remain invalid
but the interface works just fine. This is a real win and again I thank you.

I don't know who you are, or what you do for a living.... But I really cannot thank you enough...

I can confirm the Presonus Quantum now works with my i9 7940 Hackintosh. That line of code in the driver fixed it... You fixed it.

I was really ready to move to windows, or seriously consider the new Mac Pro due out this year. Thanks to you I don't have to consider either of those options.

If you ever need anything remotely musical (I am a record producer/mix engineer) please don't hesitate to ask! Just PM me.

It shouldn't matter if it's PCI Thunderbolt or on motherboard. Your output from ioreg -rn pci1c67,101 shows that the device is detected by macOS. The only remaining problem is that the kext did not get loaded. Maybe reread this thread starting from #309

Also, please format your posts using [ code] and [ /code] or [ icode] and [ /icode] (remove leading space) for information copied from Terminal.app. Also make sure the text is not triple spaced.

Thak's it's all right work perfectly on my motherboard Gigabyte Z170X . I use Startech Adapter Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2.
Work fine in MacOs High Sierra and MacOs Catalina.

So did any of you get the VRS and the Apollo Twin working together? Seems like it's either one or the other, depending on the VT-D setting. It's connected to a Z390 with Thunderbolt, OS is Catalina.
