I Confirm that the TP-Link N300 (TL-WN823N) works with Osx (thus with Sierra aswell). No dropouts, full speed, and in my opinion..the best wireless option for hackintosh. Nice for a 15 dollar wifi stick!

Sorry to wake this old post up, but I've been looking for something that can "Wake on Network Activity". Does anyone know if there is a USB Wifi adapter that can do this?

Super fast. The software works great on Sierra. I would just like one that can wake my machine up when I want to access it remotely.

Brilliant ! I had an old Realtek USB WiFi sitting around that I had used previously on a Windows 7 box. I downloaded the aforementioned driver and Bob's your uncle! I have two wifi connections on the same Macbook Pro! Here for your redundant consideration:
