    Thanks! Yes, its not a critical problem. I just wanted to clear this little confusion.
    Of course i used this patch only for port discovery and disabled it right after, Sir!:thumbup:

    Okay I understand now I appreciate the info...What I am finding that I guess Apple has rewritten a lot of stuff, mainly with USB and other things and man Sierra IMHO just doesn't hold up too good IMHO. I downgraded back to Yosemite because I use a few audio applications I purchased before Redmatica shut down. These applications are dead in the water in Sierra. So, with Yosemite I have no issues with USB so I am going to stick with that as long as I can.

    No need. There are no XHC controllers with 30 ports.

    Hub ports do not count towards the port limit.
    It is only ports on the XHC controller that count toward the limit.

    ok, so if I add a usb3 4 ports hub into one of my usb3.0 motherboard ports, does it brake the limit or not?
