So I have this weird problem where my USB drives are getting eject when my Hack gets waked from sleep. It only happens when XMP profile is set to 1 in my Gigabyte bios.

Clover has XMP set to auto detect.

System:

i7-8700-K

Gigabyte Aorus ultimate gaming

16GB Corsair Vengeance memory DDR4

GTX 1080

Sysdef is iMac 18,3

Hope someone knows a fix for this.

That's just the rules. Do you have any files in /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/PATCHED?

Fair enough.

Yes, DSDT.aml. I use a patched DSDT I got from another user. He however told me that he doesn't have any problems regarding XMP and USB drives getting ejected during sleep.

Should I share my whole EFI folder?

What if you just turned xmp off and manually set your ram speeds in bios?

You should re-extract and repatch your DSDT. Changing anything in the firmware settings page (and other hardware changes) can invalidate the addresses in your static DSDT override. You could test this with Clover's FixRegions (check the Clover boot log) but FixRegions is itself buggy, if the regions have changed you should update your static file. Also check the macOS logs for ACPI errors.

Did that. Disabled XMP and set speed to 3000Mhz.

Same result. So it might not even be an XMP problem.

I can't think my RAM is at fault... Don't really know where to look now.

This is going to be an ACPI problem. Did your USB just work 100% out of the box? If not what have you done to fix it?

Having same problem. Hopefully some one finds solution.
