USB-C drive never mounts on boot...

Hi all, quick question - is there an easy fix for this?

My portable 'work' drive, which is a USB-C SSD, never mounts on boot. It mounts fine once I unplug it and re-plug it after my hack has booted.

I'm worried about damaging my usb-c i/o port with the daily unplug/plug routine.

Am I worrying about nothing here?

FYI i'm running Catalina 10.15.3 with no other issues.

Make sure you have configured your USB ports correctly using one of the many guides available on this site.
It's pretty easy to do using Hackintool which will generate a kext for you.
