USB 3 orico pfu3-2p

Wondering if someone can please help me.

I understand that the USB 3 orico pfu3-2p works out of the box with ML 10.8.2 but for the life of me, I could not get it to work with my 10.8.2; installed via Tonymac Multibeast/unibeast with 10.8.0 and updated to 10.8.2 through Apple.

I do not have any other USB 3 kexts (e.g PXHCD, CalDigit...) in S/L/E.
I even plugged in power molex to the card.
I tried to install to an existing 10.8.2 and even with a fresh install of 10.8.2 (10.8.0 updated to 10.8.2) to another drive

the ONLY time it worked was when I tried to fix my iMessage, booting up my hackintosh with a Chameleon boot USB stick (http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/86885-step-step-fix-imessage-requires-latest-chameleon.html). then after reboot without the chameleon bootable usb stick, system didn't recognize the usb 3 pci-e card again. Could it because of Tonymac Chimera boot vs Chameleon boot?

I tried to install 10.8 with tonymac and chameleon applied to the HDD but it didn't even boot up. I guess conflict with chimera and chameleon.

Any ideas?

Did you have any luck with this? I've bought a pfu3-4p and can't see mine in the system profiler. Although it's not showing in windows 7 device manager, either.

[EDIT] Just to update, I swapped mine out to a different PCIe slot, and it's now showing up.

I have bought all three of these and they show up in system profiler but say no driver installed and do not even supply power o charge my phone. Seem to work in Linux though at least the last one haven't tried the others yet. So are not working for me either
