Sorry if this has been asked/answered but I am having an odd issue with my Front USB3 ports.
Mojave/Dell 9020USDT/i7/8GbRam/Intel4600Graphics
Steps tried:
I have ran Multi and selected the Remove XHCI and USB InjectALL
One of the ports works perfectly as do the back ports...(Yes the port is fine as it works in Win10)

It is not a show-stopper but I have a nagging curiosity to figure out how to fix it.

Thanks

Can't tell if this is a new build or just one that has started to behave badly.

Ensure XHCI is enabled in your BIOS.

Put USBInjectAll back in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other then make sure the port limit removal patch is in place in your config.plist and reboot to test again.

:)

Thanks for the quick reply...It was a new build of HS about a week, it didn't work with HS, upgraded to Mojave today, and wanted to fix it.
On a side note: the port WILL work with a USB2 device, just not a USB3...
I will try the above ASAP....

Ok, good luck.

If the ports are working as USB 2 then you probably need to create a bespoke SSDT to define your USB ports correctly.

There are a few good guides to getting this job done and here's one at Section 7.2.
