Hi every1

trying to connect my brand new audio interface via USB 3.1 Gen1 certified cable to the USB 3.1 Gen1 port of my ASUS Prime Z490-A MB.

The system was not able to recognize the hardware above... seems like if the 3.1 Gen1 port was not working...

Please Any1 could tell me if there is some known issue about that?

I'm running OpenCore 0.6.7 Catalina

Hi there.

You will probably need to configure your USB ports correctly.

It seems that you have (perhaps, I can't see from here) USBInjectAll.kext installed in either Library/Extensions or S/L/E because the XhciPortLimit quirk is set and your IOReg shows more than 15 ports.

To get all the ports you have working properly you need to identify each one and allocate a "personality" to it.

Take a look at the Beginner's Guide and see if that helps.

That's a great guide to get an understanding of USB port mappings. Must read.

Here is IMO a better way to do port mapping in combination with Hackintool.
