usb 3.0

I did a casual search for 3.0 devices and really didn't come up with much. Has anyone seen any actual items that plug in to a 3.0 motherboard that show any major speed increases and are worth purchasing? Or is the 3.0 a promise with no delivery.

Speaking of USB 3.0, if this mobo supports it, why don't I see it under the Z68 chipset diagram?

Hey all, I have a puzzler.. (Sorry for the car talk ref but I think this counts)

I have a GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-F9 Gigabyte MB which is running the USB 3.0 driver and is able to mount nearly every peripheral I throw at it.

However I bought a SIIG 3.0 Hub and it works in 2.0 but not the 3.0 ports. On 3.0 the sdcard slots work, but not the USB ports. On 2.0 the sdcard and the usb ports work.

It's possible the hub is broken as I believe there are two separate chipsets on it.

Has anyone run into this? THANKS!
