Hi to all people in this wonderful community. Thanks to Tonymac to exist
I set up a build like dingleberry one (http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...79s-up5-x79-c606-i7-3930k-32gb-gtx670-10.html) with gigabyte X79s-up5 wifi, i7 3960x, 64gb ram Nvidia GTX500, and 3 hds....
Everything work correctly, but i've a strange behaviour with USB3 devices, in particular external HDs
When i connect an external HD to an USB3 rear port, it's recognized and i can work with it, but if i try to initialize or format i've an error and i cannot continue. Same if i try to use with time machine, i cannot initialize because of a generic error.
If i connect the same disk in an usb2 rear or front port, the disk can be initialized etc
Any help to solve this strange behaviour?
Thanks
