As I posted in that other thread, my Etron EJ168A is working great.

Inatek KT-4006 (FL1100) confirmed working OOB in El Cap. Great speeds. Can't boot from a disk connected to this card, though.

Also works fine in my version of 10.9.5, so it seems. Nice.

Thanks, sounds like the card to get for El Capitan, was built for the mac pro so hopefully an oob transplant and back to having El Capitan as my main os.

What specific card manufacturer is it? Syba? Also, what driver does it show loaded for your card in System Information?

I bouth orico p10 series 10 ports usb hub its worked 10.11 compatible usb2 and 3.

Inatek KT-4006 (FL1100) not working in my series 6 MB.
Must be something else going on.

Confirming the Inatek KT-4006 works flawlessly in my system OOB. been using now for a couple of weeks with no configuration needed. Just plug in and use.

Inateck KT-4006 works here OOTB as well, is just as fast as the ASUS U3S6 card in yosemite.

With that said, the ASUS U3S6 (NEC chip) is not working in 10.11.

Also ASMedia 1061 card works OOTB for SATA6 expansion on a SATA3 board.

Can you boot from a esata disk connected to the ASMedia 1061 card?

The fact that I can't boot from the Inatek is a serious drawback.

I am booting both Windows and OSX from the ASMedia card, OSX is on a Evo 850 and Windows is on a Evo 840.
Its a speed increase of almost double that i see on the SATA3 ports.

I guess it's mainboard dependent if you can boot from it.
