Not sure if this belongs here, but I recently bought an ExpressCard/34 with 2 USB 3.0 ports on it. It uses a NEC UPD720202 chip, which I've heard can be unreliable even with the generic XHCI kext, but I have read reports of my particular card working on older versions of MacOS. However, with 10.14.6 I am unable to get it working. The card itself appears under PCI in system report, and the USB3 controller even appears under USB, along with any devices I have connected. Despite everything being listed correctly however, the devices themselves do not work. I am currently using GenericUSBXHCI.kext and USB-Inject-All.kext but I'm having no luck.
This is the ExpressCard in question: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264356833725
I will post pictures below of what appears in System Information.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
