USB 3.0 not working in Maverick but works when booting from install USB

As the title says, my USB 3.0 ports are not working when I boot into Maverick but if I boot into the install USB they work. I've done Multibeast and installed universal USB 3.0 driver. Still no luck.

Any thoughts?

Downloaded the generic USB kext from soourceforge and installed. USB 3.0 ports now work.

I'm having the exact same problem... But how do I install the GenericUSBXHCI.kext into my extensions without being able to use USB? I'm trying now through the Unibeast USB stick and going right into terminal, but I can't get it to work

Are they working at USB 3.0 speeds? or just 2.1?
