These drivers should in theory work with the NEC controllers on any hackingtosh motherboard, as LaCie uses the same controller on its cards, so it might be worth giving a try. http://www.lacie.com/us/more/index.htm?id=10112

Well, I can't test it; however, this guy over on insanelymac installed the driver and it showed up fine in his system profiler.

This may be the USB3 solution we have been waiting for.

Wish I had a device to test with... My H55N-USB3 has 2 USB3 ports.

Here's System Profiler with my USB 2.0 stick in:

I've planned to buy an external HD for my laptop backup... The price difference between the USB 2 and 3 is only 10€.
So I come back here as soon as I bought and tested it on my hack !

I just installed the USB3 Lacie Driver and it shows up in my profiler as USB Super-Speed Bus. Where to get a USB3 device now... Hmmm?

Hi all

Installed and Restart. It's show up in System Profiler, as USB Super-Speed Bus. I will buy external enclosurer usb 3.0 to test speed later.

Thanks all.

I cant seem to find where that super speed port is though... tested my keyboard in all the different USB ports, and never had it listed in the USB Super-speed port. Anyone else try that. Arent those USB3 ports the Blue ones?

Well I installed it and it shows up in system profiler. But when I attach a usb3 hd it shows up as high-speed 480mbit. I don't know why this is happening. My mobo is X58A-UD3R rev1.
Maybe something in dsdt messes this ?
