Upgrading Laptop screen to 1080p

I had a chat with HP today and according to them 646273-001 Cable Kit comes with many cables: microphone cable, WWAN cable, webcam cable, LCD cable
That's ridiculous to pay nearly $70 +S&H just to get HD+ cable

There must be part number for HD+ cable only that have the same length and connectors on both ends.

There is nothing on the 4530s spare parts, only the HD+ kit. check here. only solution is to find a used cable for a 4730s or other 17 inch laptop. Every other cable that issued new from HP and supports HD+ res will cost ~70 on hp and ~50-60$ on alinc.com with free ground service for US and about ~50$ for Europe. Only solution if someone from ground America Volunteer to help us.

Okay I'm placing my order now for the web cam cable, the HD+ cable, and some new hinge covers.

Good thing is that 4530S and 4730S share the same service manual and 646274-001 is only like $15-$19. I wish I could find some pictures for it to confirm compatibility.

Yes, latest service manual for 4530S from October shows three display cable:

For use in models without a webcam 605766-001
For use in 4530s models with HD+ displays 646273-001
For use in 4730s models with HD+ displays 646274-001

Seems that use some internal part numbers. My existing LCD cable has this number 6017B0269101
