Upgrading from HighSierra to Catalina failed - can't see any issue why

No I understood how to use the Configurator. For the boot theme I only changed stuff in the theme editor. Now I found out I have to actually set the desired theme in the GUI section.

I also managed to check the FixShutdown flag but it does not help. Every time I (try to) shut down the computer it restarts. Any other suggestion?
