So I've had my current machine as a hackintosh since Snow Leopard. I originally had a 128 gb SSD as the boot drive plus extra HDDs and eventually added a 1TB SSD as my drive with the user profiles on them. I've been careful to not deviate too much from the norm to ensure compatibility.
I've upgraded to High Sierra now so my original SSD is now APFS. I tried upgrading my user SSD drive to APFS and it failed. I'm wondering if it's recommended to try for both SSDs and HDDs and who has tried it.
