I couldn't find the 570. I was able to find the 580 and 550

Will that be ok?

Hi there.

Be careful ...

The 580 you quote is from an unknown manufacturer. It could be a fake.

The 550 you quote is genuine from Asus, however a Lexa chipset and not supported under macOS. The earlier Baffin based 550s are okay but it is difficult to know which GPU uses which. Some Lexa cards can be "spoofed" but there is no guarantee it will work.

Remember the 500-series GPUs are no longer the current generation and so can be difficult to find new. A lot of 580s available second-hand now are ex-mining cards and so risky to buy.

For Ventura the 560, 570 & 580 are a good choice, but most new builders go for the RX 6600 and 6800 cards. However they are not cheap.

Personally I use a Dell RX560. They are cheap, reliable and do not need an extra power cable. Their RX 460 is also quite good.

:)
