Hello, I've just tried a basic attempt at updating from OC 5.6 to OC 6.2 and judging by the error messages while attempting to boot OC and how the config file doesn't seem to appear in Open Core configurator I thought I would check to see if this means I have to start from scratch to use OC 6.2?

The number of errors in the configurator validator looks longer than my config, with entire sections listed as missing.

If anyone has a good guide on this it would be great? The bad thing about the internet is obsolete data never dies and just hangs around to confuse.

Each version of OpenCore has it’s own config.plist. You cannot use a config.plist from 0.5.6 for 0.6.2. I would advise not to try for 0.6.2 as that version has not been released yet. Go with version 0.6.1 using info at this site https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/
You will still need to do some research, but chances are you’ll be up and running in no time.
