Hello Stork, have you made the jump to Catalina?
Nope. Catalina has just too many new, underlining changes for me. Plus, using Go64, I've discovered I have too many 32bit apps to update/replace in a timely manner. (Catalina, among other things, will only allow 64bit apps to run.) So, I'll have a test installation on another SSD to test Uni/MultiBeast, but I doubt that I'll use Catalina in a production environment. Mojave runs great!

Great build Stork! I know it’s perhaps late on the congrats for the original build but the instructions you provided worked great on a bunch of new parts that I ‘ve been sitting on for a few. I have most of the same components as you and I am using the modified bios. The system has 2 NVMe M.2 drives in it (removed until I get the bugs worked out of Mojave).

I am having a couple of minor bugs with the most problematic being the lack of the macOS native Bluetooth device not being either detected or even showing up. It is a Fenvi FV-HB1200. The wireless shows up and is functioning but no Bluetooth. It has a USB cable that plugs into the card and the Bluetooth part of the device doesn’t show up anywhere! The kicker is that it’s fine in Windows.... I’m at a loss.
Anyone got any ideas on how to get this native Bluetooth device to function?

@zanthros,

Is the Fenvi card's USB cable plugged into a motherboard header that is negated by your USB port limiting? How are you doing the USB port limiting? Config.plist code or SSDT?

I went by the instructions on your build and followed it verbatim and had no major problems. The only problem I had was getting the Mojave downloaded onto one of my old unsupported boxes with Mavericks on it. I have to go on the presumption that it is the config.plist as I am a little uncomfortable with the instructions with making an ssd with the hackintool. I guess I need to read up on it to know what is going on. I am certain that it is a USB issue

Here it is: Some of the USB ports are not working. This is perhaps the reason that the bluetooth device does not work as it has a cable that plugs into a usb header on the motherboard. Here is the current USB listing in the system properties:

Hackintool looks like this:

Just need to get a good primer on the Hackintool usage and explicit instructions that are step by step for the "clueless" o_O

Did you see my Hackintool procedures in Post #1?

How do you do this?
Have you ever modified your /EFI/.../Clover/config.plist file? I need to know how much experience you have in order to give you the procedure.
