Updated Mountain Lion Installation Guide Now Available

The UniBeast guide for Mountain Lion has been updated with pictures, troubleshooting tips, and MultiBeast 5.0 screenshots. We think it's tested and complete enough now for most systems to have a flawless installation and post-installation. Leave a comment on the post to let us know if there are any ways we can improve it.

Cannot get to the install screen.

Booting stuck at:

com_lnx2mac_RealtekRTL81xx: Ethernet address ...

If I deselect 'Laptop support' install goes ahead normally. Still installing...


(Current setup: MSI PR200 & Lion 10.7.2)

This guide did not work for my new Dell XPS L521x (Ivy Bridge)... After the installation it crashed and told me to power off.

Finally Works for my SuperMicro X8DAH+-F with dual X5690. Had to swap the ATI6870 with 5770(with boot flag npci=0x2000) and do a fresh install. I tried upgrade from Lion but start up stuck at screen with apple logo, too lazy to trouble shoot so do a fresh install.

Everything seems to work.
