Hi,

I've been trying to get my IOGear BT dongle up and running.

Both mouse and keyboard say they are connected/charged, yet neither are working wirelessly.

I get the following error when plugging either in:
updateChainPower error: -3900

Also in Bluetooth Explorer no HCI Controller is available to select.

Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Cheers!

From ioreg, looks fine/working.
Did you test your hardware in Windows?

Thanks for looking over it for me!

I haven't no... Since my original post I've had to do a clean install.
The only kexts I added are BrcmPatchRAM2, BrcmFirmwareRepo & BrcmNonPatchRAM2.

I'm back to not being able to turn BT off, unable to connect to any devices & now have the option to select the Broadcom in HCI Controllers only for it to immediately switch back to the Atheros Communications one as ACTIVE.

Any ideas? The keyboard, Mouse & Dongle are all brand new so would hope theres no issues there.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
