Hi. Can't get to the High Sierra installation directly following this guide. I followed every step but when I restart all I get is the black screen with the Apple logo, but no progress bar whatsoever. I tried the -V argument but nothing and Im not sure what to do next. Any idea? Thanks.

Same problem. I did not find a direct solution. I changed the clover configuration to match the other machine (Dell laptop), made the update, then switched back clover. It is running without problem but got again problem for the 2 updates. I made the same for first and just failed 10.13.1 upgrade, I hope it will work the same.

Still haven't found a solution. I've been hackintoshing since Tiger/Leopard days, but High Sierra has me stopped cold.

This is as far as I get: kexts stall [0], (240s): 'AppleACPICPU'.

I've tried iGFX with same result. I've tried pen drive and direct update. I've tried -f -s. I've tried every version of Clover in the last two months. Any clue what to try next?

Yes that was done per previous thread recommendations a few weeks ago. Also have FixHeaders_20000000 and tried iGFX connection (to take the Nvidia 960 out of the equation) and always same result. I have no problem getting back to Sierra through the same Clover boots to either of 2 SSD's
