Has anyone successfully updated to 10.8.4 yet?
I'm currently running 10.8.2, but my attempts to update to 10.8.3 resulted in a [COLOR=#DD3C42 !important]black screen[/COLOR] on boot. I never did fix it, so I reverted to 10.8.2.
My video card is an nVidia GeForce 8800 GT, in a Dell Optiplex 960. (Intel® Q45 Express Chipset w/ICH10DO.)
I need this latest update - I want to run Logic Pro X.
If I download and install this latest update and I end up with a black screen on boot AGAIN, what simple steps can I take to get it running? Run Multibeast, and...? I'm not sure how to go about fixing things if they go wrong.
I have a backup disk image ready to go of my current, stable installation, just in case.
