Previously running High Sierra 13.10.5

Updated Clover, then confirmed all existing drivers & FakeSMC were still in place. (<- It might be worth noting that this step could be clearer? Something like “replace your FakeSMC & kexts with these here” [link]. Just a thought.)
Downloaded Mojave via AppStore & ran installer.

Install failed. Progress bar hangs almost half way, “calculating time remaining”.
Left for more than an hour, a few times.
Rebooted trying different flags which helped my install during High Sierra & previous installs (-f GraphicsEnabler=No UseKernelCache=No) but to no difference.
Unable to boot back into previous OS, option has now been replaced with macOS Install.

Removed drive, mounted on my MacBook Pro, downloaded latest FakeSMC & Apfs.efi from Tonymacx86 (links in first post) & manually copied them over to EFI, removing old copies.
Then unmounted EFI & re-ran Clover installer, but this time ticked ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi, PartitionDxe-64.efi, and AptioMemoryFix-64.efi (as suggested a few times in this thread).

Placed drive back in my Hackintosh, booted installer (with no flags or changes at all).
Installer very obviously running now, “time remaining” constantly counting down & progress bar always on the move.
Installed successfully- but now have terrible graphics.

Turns out my Radeon HD 5770 does not support “Metal”, which Mojave relies on.
Will be looking around for a 7000 or 8000 series card now.

Thank you to Tonymacx86 & everyone for all their input & tips!

Updated directly from High Sierra to Mojave. First attempt failed because (i think) I'm using an NVME as boot. I cloned the NVME to an SSD and then updated directly from the App Store. The system rebooted a few times then....done....Mojave up and running. Cloned the SSD back to the NVME and now I have a 100% working Mojave system

Update complete. Only issue I had was when I updated clover to the latest, it removed OsxAptioFix3Driv-64 and I got a Randoseed boot loop. I simple put in my USB stick which has my High Sierra install on and installed OsxAptioFix3Driv-64 via clover configurator. After that the boot loop was rectified and the install went through without a hitch

Updated straight from macOS Sierra 12.6

Backed-up current drive using SuperDuper!!!!

Installed latest clover r4674..... Kexts all updated to latest versions in the EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other folder... appleALC, FakeSMC, Lilu, and RealtekRTL8111 with a reboot before update to macOS Mojave.
Took approximately 45 minutes to update to macOS Mojave with multiple restarts.

Issue encountered.... WIFI not found....had kext IO80211Family from Sierra build backed-up.
Installed that kext into Mojave s/l/e using KextBeast, restart and wifi working again.
Guess they stopped support for the Atheros chipset.

Everything else worked like a charm.
GT 710 2gb ddr5 works OTB
USB and Sound worked without issue....

Waiting for the Nvida webdrivers for my other build, which has a 750gtx.

I have updated from HS, but having some strange problems.
Sometimes when I try to open a application, it would say it is damaged, and when I try it again it works.
Also when I try the screen recording first couple times it will say "your screen recording can’t be saved."

anyone else have problems like this ?
