This was a challenging update, but I finally got it to work. High Sierra is running on my ASUS Z87-Expert motherboard, Asus PB298 Display, Kingston Solid State Drive using the APFS file system. This was a direct update. I've purchased a Samsung M2 500 GB internal SSD with an PCI-Express3.0 adapter card as my motherboard does not have M2 slots. I hope this works as a temporary solution till I can upgrade my motherboard. It be cool to hear others who are running an M2 drive on High Sierra.
UPDATE: I received my PCIe 3.0X4 Host Adapter for M.2 NGFF PCIe SSD and a Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500 GB SSD. (see new image of BlackMagic Disc Speed Test) I'm getting 1877.7 Write / 2468.7 Read speeds, just wish I could figure out how to boot from it. It doesn't appear on Clover as a boot device.

Everything is working perfect on my ASUS Z170X - UD3H...thank you tonymacx86...

So I need a big help! First let me start with the specs of my machine:

Intel Core i7-6700K
Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 3
Gigabyte GTX 950 Windforce 4GB

Im currently running 10.12.3 Sierra. The first installation, which was in El Capitan, didn't came from me as a friend had helped me with this. From El Capitan I managed to do all the updates through 10.12.3 without any problems. But since the update 10.12.4 I can't get it to work. And ofcourse I can't update to High Sierra.

On my Clover Configurator I see that I have:

Current Booted Version: 3974
Remote Available Version: 4243

I tried a lot of times to update it, and while it is showing that is installing (even with the manual install of the .pkg) its not updating.

Please excuse any noob questions that I might make, but I really need someone to tell me the complete guide to install the new clover and all the steps needed to finally update my machine to 10.12.6 or High Sierra if this is possible.

For any details you need for me, kindly tell me and I will reply.

Thank you very much in advance

Any comments are welcome

Installation went smooth, after updating Nvidia Web Drivers the resolution returned to normal and second display came on.

MultiBeast fails to install audio drivers, any ideas for Realtek ALC892? Tried https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-desktop-realtek-applehda-audio.226433/ and no go.

Also how can I clean up this garbage?

And although Cuda was updated to 9.0.197, it still pops up on every start saying "Update Required" although no update is available.

Hi to all,
Well this has been an ordeal to accomplish ...
My first , 2nd, 3rd, 4, 5, 6 ..., attempts where a total disaster , and it rendered my system useless, TimeMachine in the works.

I managed to find an macOS SIERRA Installation (10.12.4) on my Macbook, and recreated the USB.

I had to manually delete APFS disk in order to reinstall de macOS.
After the new setup, and appropriate configs from my old SMBIOS settings, I tried the upgrade. System was free of everything, fresh install and no APPS whatsoever on it.

The upgrade was initiated without moving to APFS. I didn't want to deal again with the process of removing it if things gone wrong again.

Got the same crash from my previous post, but I found a post somewhere, can't recall where, sorry, and changed the setting on clover configurator for the 'Drop Tables' setting. see image. I only changed that setting.

Restarted and tried again the upgrade, executing the upgrade without the APFS, although I do have a EVO 750 SSD.

After some initial error, that I couldn't see well, was to quick on displaying it, the system restarted and I let it to retry a second time. I've put the '-v' switch in order to see all messages, and setup the Gopro to record the video,

After 30 mins or so, the setup finished, and displayed an error message regarding the existence of some 'incompatible' extension, that were disabled. I restarted the system, and all seams to be ok.

Then I migrated my data from TimeMachine, and here I'm, hoping that this sticks.
Thanks to all, for the support and Tonymacx86 for its existence.

Stay well and sharp.
