Hi!

I have a Realtek RTL8187b wireless adapter that seems like doesn't have support for OSX since 10.6.
Since It's USB, I got this idea: What if you pass it to a virtual machine and have it working there, then route the host requests through it?

BUT! I'm not really well-versed with networking, let alone networking on macOS. To illustrate my point, I'm currently writing this post within the virtual machine on my hackintosh that doesn't have WiFi.

I've tried to set up a bridge adapter, somewhat like I used to do on Windows(based off of keywords), but couldn't get it to work.

I live in a country where a compatible WiFi card is relatively expensive, so I might as well try this :)

If anyone is following this, I managed to get some access on Terminal using a "bridge adapter", routing table on host and iptable forwarding on linux guest, but it looks like macOS is not routing DNS requests through. If anyone is versed on the proper way to configure macOS for it, lemme know.
