I've installed ML on my SSD and can only boot using -x. The issue when I boot with -v is:

This is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
-- power management may be incomplete or unsupported

After surfing through a bunch of different forums it seems that the problem is that the system is trying to support the Ivy Bridge CPU with Sandy Bridge support?

My Specs are:
Gigabyte motherboard z77x-ud5h Bios v.14
EVGA GeForce GTX670
16 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
Intel i7 3770k quad core 3.5 ghz
Seagate 120GB SSD

I believe that because it is an i7 3770k that I am unable to disable VT-d in the BIOS because there is no option to. I've set my BIOS settings according to this post:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/99-quick-guide-configuring-uefi-gigabyte-s-7-series-lga-1155-boards.html

What can I do? I'm at my wit's end. This is my first build so some of the language is a little hard for me to decipher. Any and all help is welcome. Thank You!
