Hello,
I must say that seeing this video got me to buy an apollo !
So I just received and installed my Apollo quad on my GA-Z77X-UP5-TH,
on mavericks, the console communicates with the apollo unit by thunderbolt,
but the mac
does t see the apollo drivers and on the mac report system under thunderbolt says:
no device. Any Idea ?

But does it work? Can you record or play back audio through the device? I have the same mobo, and for whatever reason, nothing shows up in the System Report > Thunderbolt even though a device is connected & working. I think it actually enumerates as a PCIe card when something is plugged in...

no it doesn t , cant playback anything from the mac .Do we have to do the full windows install , to activate the thunderbolt maybe ?

Not on the Z77 boards - it just works OoB...but you need to make sure that you have your TB settings in the UEFI BIOS set properly. Check my signature for my Music Studio 2.0 build - I have lots of screen grabs with the correct/working BIOS settings. Make sure you've got that dialed in properly.

Thanx boomR, for your very good build guide, regarding the TB in the bios,
I dont see other TB settings than "wake from TB device" wich is also disabled.
are they ? the difference of our systems is my asus gt660 graphic card (that I need for multi screens)
and maybe as TB is like PCI maybe it has to do with this...?

Hmmm...what version of the UEFI BIOS are you running on your system?
