Thanks a lot...

WOooot!!!! Thanks a Million!!

Great Work!
Easy Setup and fast.

Again Thank you So Much Tony and Macman. You Guys are the best!

French user, sorry for my English spoken

ok. I have a little tip for user like me who have problem during installation with the usb key (black screen with no signal and system hang)+ "bios cmos error load default" at the reboot.

I have a G31-ES2L Mb (a pretty old MB but still the best ;-) with core2duo and Nvidia GT210.

With the typical method given for install Yosemite, i couldn't pass the moment of the black screen (no signal).

What i have done a little more :

Follow the UniBeast method for creating the Yosemite installation usb key
Before rebooting and launching the installation, open the USB Yosemite just created, make all the file visible (deactivate hidden files with Onyx for example).
You will see a hidden /Extra Folder on the USB key . Copy/paste in this folder your own DSDT.aml (for me , the file DSDT.aml used for Maverick/Extra works fine) on the USB key.
Always in this Extra folder , modify the org.chameleon.boot.plist by adding YES to GraphicEnabler (by default for me it was NO).

Save, make files hidden again if you want Reboot on the USB key and install.

For me, by using this little tip, it become a 100% ok installation of Yosemite.

Post installation, only used Kext Utility and my sound an network .Kext (both the same for Maverick) and i have a 100% solid as rock Yosemite system ( iCloud ok too)

thus

Note that there's a typo in the menu (even here on the screenshots :) of Unibeast 5.0.1
Desination instead of Destination...
Thanks for the good work, though :)

lol for the cartoon

I probably just haven't found it yet, but is "Any Supported Intel-based PC" documented somewhere? (i.e. what does "any supported" mean?)

Notes on getting ALC892 audio to work on Yosemite with Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H motherboard with Intel i5-4670K:

With Mavericks, installing ALC892 from older version of Multibeast (6.1) resolved my no audio problems. However, this did not work with Yosemite.

PROBLEM 1 - No Audio After Yosemite Installation

After installing Yosemite and running Multicast 7.0 with the following options:
. Quick Start > DSDT Free
. Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC892
. Drivers > Network > Intel - AppleIntelE1000e V3.1.0

On restart,
. check System Preferences > Sound
-> No output devices found
. check contents of /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
-> kext-dev-mode=1 not found (should have been set by MultiBeast Quick Start > DSDT Free option)

SOLUTION: Credit to: user statesidela (http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/144607-yosemite-audio-ga-z87mx-d3h-alc892.html)

a) Run MultiBeast 7.0 and select the following options:
. Customize > Boot Options > Kext Dev Mode
b) Restart OS X.
. check contents of /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist
-> kext-dev-mode=1 found
c) Goto /System/Library/Extensions and delete AppleHDA.kext then empty trash
d) Run MultiBeast 7.0 and select the following options:
. Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC892
e) Restart OS X
. check System Preferences > Sound
-> Output devices found, but Output set to Digital Out
. change Output to Internal Speaker
-> audio now works

PROBLEM 2 - No Audio After Sleep

After wake up from sleep there is no audio.

SOLUTION: Credit to: user codf4ther (http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/144256-no-audio-after-sleep-yosemite-alc892-3.html)

a) Run MultiBeast 7.0 and select the following options:
. Customize > System Definitions > iMac 14,2 (for i5 4670K Haswell)

NOTE: don’t use Mac mini 6.1 as it results in “Thunderbolt Firmware 1.2” Software Update that
cannot be hidden or installed successfully.

On restart
-> audio now works upon wake up from sleep

Great Guide All working Great !! Tnx a lot to all the guys that made this!
