After many tries at installing Yosemite on my Gigabyte z68a board I was about to give up and stick with mavericks, so I decided to update the bios to the uefi bios and restarted and sure enough Yosemite booted up with just easybeast install audio and network works without choosing them from multibeast my system on a core i5 is excellent. so I think if anyone is having problems with install try to update to a uefi bios if its available. So thanks to the community for everything.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

Been fighting with this for a week, update my GA Z68MA-UD3-B3 to the UEFI bios and first try its alive with just GraphicsEnabler=Yes (gtx 580)
Using dsdt free and iMac 13,1 since it has a ivy bridge CPU.

Have not tested anything, just excited I got it to boot for the first time in a week!

Why don't you just close the thread with a message for people to open their own thread for problems? People are naturally going to post problems to this thread even though admin don't want to. Its either 'I have a problem', 'see post 167 'or 'thank you it works'. None of these types of posts are particularly useful.

Its twenty six pages long, the only useful post is the first one.

I couldn't agree more - It's not my decision to make.
