no need of MBR patch?
Ignoring this?

Thank Tony!!!
How do you set "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" in MultiBeast so you don't have to enter it each time you boot?

There is an option in multibeast and I did verify this in my boot plist that it is there.

I verified all of my flags needed are there but still getting sleep monitor.

:(

Good part is for now I can enjoy Mavericks through USB boot and flags that way.

When Mountain Lion came out, the 68XX cards were having serious issues. If your CPU didn't have internal graphics you had to swap in a different graphics card. Anyone know if that's still the case?

I had the same problem, on the system information it says "Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6xxx 1024 MB", just to be more specific :)
This time I had no issues at all, just a longer time to get to the installation (choose the language) after the bootloader.
I suddenly have some graphic lags, but I think that with next updates everything will work perfectly! If you are not sure, wait for 10.9.1 or 10.9.2 ;) hope it was useful, bye!

Upgraded from 10.8.4, everything went smoothly!

Asus P7P55D-E LX 1602
2.81 GHz Core i5
GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2Gb

boot flag: GraphicsEnabler=No (probably not needed as this is the new default)

Unibeast:
Did not enable Legacy USB support

Multibeast:
UserDSDT
VoodooHDA 0.2.56 (I'm not using built in audio, but am using a USB audio device. This selection may not be needed.)
3rd Party SATA
Realtek Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90 (Lnx2Mac has always worked in the past, so stuck with it)
iMac13,2

I think I am confused....
I have one mac (pre-2007 I believe) and one imac, both running 10.6.8
When I try to upgrade to OS X Mavericks, it says it cannot complete the purchase, and won't let me download the os x mavericks.
I know both my computers are intel based, and have enough RAM and hard drive space for mavericks. Unfortunately, none of them are "upgradeable" to os mavericks.
So, when I start from the beginning, I do have a 8G USB drive. I have downloaded unibeast and multibeast, but cannot go beyond step 1, line 3 which is to download os mavericks from the app store. How do I download it if macstore tells me that they are not upgradeable? I am sure the answer to my problem is simple. Maybe I should be using different procedure than the one listed here?
Thanks so much for all your help in advance.

Well well, you have real Macs. I also have 2006 iMac which I cannot upgrade beyond Lion. You are definitely on wrong site to find solution, sorry.

Have you tried to use different USB ports while installing? This sometimes helps.
