I having problems, 'cos usb stick boots only to bios. No luck trying UniBeast or with script (install to USB succeeded when I bought 16gb stick)

ASUS Z97I-PLUS Motherboard
Intel Core i5 4690K
GeForce GTX 960 G1
1 SSD with win 8.1
1 SSD for OSX
1 HDD for files

I remember that I once got OS X installed but then there was no support for GTX 960, so I switched to Linux. This combo is for gaming but my iMac is getting old. I will try Yosemite, if that is the way.

So far I have tryed to remove all existing boots, but no luck

having issues with no Kext files on my bootable usb...

I have now also made few bootable sticks for removing old ubuntu grubs etc (and succeeded), but no luck for OS X. But I notice that stick where bios says UEFI will boot. Only linux was Ubuntu witch booted. And those OS X sticks wont boot.

If the problem is new Disk Utility in El Capitan? In that you can't clear possible partitions from stick. My stick dont to read as "UEFI" when I had hitted F8, so it's can not boot...

Hi I've been trying to get the El Capitan to work but no success. I'm always stuck at the apple sign, I'm quite new to this also.

Yes, the new disk utility was the problem. I format disk via terminal and it booted!
